During the life of your “whatever it is that you’re doing” you will continue to discover new ways to screw up. New risks, new information that changes the way you think about existing risks. So you need to find a way to continue the process you’ve started.
Like many things, there is more effort at the start. You will need to build a continuous process to support:
- discovery of new risks
- estimation and prioritisation of risks
- assessment (and re-assessment) of risks
- action planning and tracking
- risk expiry
- communication and escalation
I have some more to write here, consider this the coming soon section
